Precision Cut gems
Precision cut gems are mostly cut on a modern machine with the cut design generated on a computer with GemCad or GemCutStudio software to optimise the cutting angles. This gems are normally cut for brilliance, beauty, colour and clarity. Surprisingly weight and size is not the primary objective.
Fantasy Cut gems
Fantasy cut gems are primarily artistic and exotic cuts with different cutting styles, methods and ideas to create a unique piece of art. The designs and cut is done on the fly by every individual artist.
Concave Cut gems
Concave cut gems are done with cylindrical mandrels of different diameters. These designs can’t be generated on a computer, so mostly depends on the insight and experience of the individual cutter. When executed well, these cuts produce magnificent gems!
Build your own Jewellery
In “Build your own Jewellery” you can self select your precious metal with either one of Martins Coloured Gems or a diamond of your choice. We offer bespoke designs and hand made jewellery.
